What an incredible night at the Good Design Australia Awards! always a highlight of the year and a powerful reminder of the impact of Australian design and the value in sponsoring australian design.
This year I had the privilege of leading the Product Design jury, joined by my fantastic co-judge, nila rezaei (UNSW & RK collective), and working alongside an inspiring panel including Kristina Zlomislic Brancaccio (ResMed) and Craig Andrews (Design Momentum).
A big congratulations the Alquemy and nama teams, as well as Other Matter, for earning Best in Class in our categories. an outstanding achievement.
Also, I can’t forget to acknowledge two remarkable projects that took home Good Design of the Year as co-winners: YLab’s Deadly Democracy, led by Roya A. Azadi, and Hullbot, led by Tom Loefler. Both are brilliant examples of how design continues to shape and elevate every corner of our community.
